The Year in Review

Ever wonder why all the pundits wait until the END of the year to offer their punditory retrospectives? I find it much easier - and usually just as insightful - to review a year early on.

So without further ado, here's my wrap-up of 2006:

I've been mostly hungover, but not so incapacitated as to fail to notice that all the holiday guests have left. Thank God one of you did the dishes. And somebody fed the dog. But which one of you &$@%'s downloaded $57 worth of iTunes and burned the last of my CDs???

So, 2006... shaping up to be almost as insufferable as the previous annus horribilus. And there's 361 days left to go.

Schubert's Unfinished Fifth
